The post holder will assist with the administration for supporting the apprenticeship journey across the University of Derby. The post holder will work closely with the Operational Compliance manager (Skills and Apprenticeships) to create a strong process for compliance of apprenticeships.
Principal Accountabilities
1) Co-ordinate, manage and process apprentice sign ups, change of circumstance and exits ensuring all required documentation for audit purposes has been received and is accurate and compliant.
2) Create, update and manage apprenticeship records (eg: ILR, DAS, LRS, apprentice files, evidence packs) in line with funding agency requirements.
3) In an advisory capacity support internal and external stakeholders on relevant policies, procedures and quality audit requirements and provide information as required.
4) Develop robust processes and checks to validate apprentice and employer data to support funding claims .
5) With the Assistant Registrar (FE and Skills) be responsible for MIS and the production of all associated reporting to identify starts, leavers, achievements, completions, achievement rates, out of funding etc.
6) Lead on and develop processes to support the apprentice and employer survey cycle including their distribution, return, analysis and the reporting of outcomes.
7) Work closely with College Relationship Co-ordinators and College Student Centres on all aspects of apprenticeship compliance to ensure all required documentation for audit purposes has been received and is accurate.
8) Support apprentice and employer events as required.
9) Undertake any required Continued Professional Development to support the role and continued compliance with funding agency requirements.

Qualifications
· A levels or equivalent work experience.
· Maths GCSE 4-9 or equivalent.
· English GCSE 4-9 or equivalent.

· Academic or vocational (business administration) qualification/s at Level 4.
· Management/business/customer care qualification
· IT qualification Experience
· Previous senior administration experience
· Education sector experience.
· Knowledge of Apprenticeships.
· Working knowledge and understanding of systems and services in an FES environment.
· Developing and implementing policies and procedures at an operational level.

· Familiar with government systems for supporting apprenticeships advantageous.

Rate of Pay : £13.32 per hour
Working Hours: 20 hours per week
Length of Contract: until 31.03.2025
