 Bridge the Gap Child Mental Health CIC is a community-driven organisation dedicated to supporting children’s emotional literacy and mental health through early intervention. Our mission is to empower children, families, and schools with the knowledge and tools to navigate emotional wellbeing effectively.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a student or recent graduate to conduct an impact analysis of our support, helping us to understand the outcomes of our early intervention services while developing a strategy to expand community engagement. This role is ideal for someone passionate about mental health, research, and community outreach.

What you will be doing:

Impact Analysis & Research:

  • Conduct interviews or surveys with stakeholders (families, schools, volunteers) to collect qualitative and quantitative feedback on our services.
  • Research community needs and identify gaps in child mental health provision in Derby.
  • Analyse data to measure the effectiveness of Bridge the Gap’s early intervention services.

Community Engagement Strategy:

  • Develop a plan to enhance volunteer recruitment and engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with underserved communities.
  • Provide recommendations on expanding our outreach and improving accessibility to services.

Deliverables:

  • A report outlining the impact of our support with key insights and recommendations.
  • A community engagement strategy with clear, actionable steps to enhance volunteer participation and outreach.
