Discipline Lifecycle Coordinator for Counselling and Psychotherapy - Administrator Required
Job Description:
 The postholders will work across a range of activities, which could include:

· Support activity across the full lifecycle of programmes in the discipline area.

· Be a key anchor for the discipline area, acting as a coordinator across a range of activities, including admissions.

· Be led by our students, and the activities associated with their journey through our programmes.

· Involve supporting and organising key learning activities

· Involve participation in timetable coordination and room booking, supporting the process of collating timetables for programmes across the discipline. This will involve supporting the

scheduling and organisation of modules.

· Involve supporting and monitoring personal academic tutoring experiences

· Tracking students who are not progressing or not participating in their learning and working with them and the academic staff to find strategies to continue their learning.

· Work with academic staff in the sourcing and securing of work or voluntary experiences for L5 students.

· Support the attendance monitoring process through collating and analysing attendance data, highlighting/identifying issues with attendance.

· Involve organising and minuting meetings as required.

· Support the planning, prioritisation, and implementation of key activities across the Discipline for example interviews, student recruitment, open days, assessment boards,

moderation, to ensure a consistent approach and compliance with University Regulations & requirements.

· Work collaboratively with all areas of the University to ensure the best response to students.

· Ensure an inclusive service with a focus on delivering excellence.

· Contribute to small scale projects and preparing associated reports and analysis.

· Undertake reviews and evaluation of the services provided to develop and enhance service standards.

· Maintain professional competence through continuous professional development in line with role.

· Support programme leaders and discipline leads in their duties, for example evidence collation for professional investigations.

· Perform any other duties as agreed with the Discipline Lead or Assistant Discipline Lead.

 Candidate and Skills Requirements (all candidates must reside within the UK to undertake any role through the SEA):

· Ability to communicate complex and conceptual ideas to a range of groups

· Proficient in using IT to support own work and that of others

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Able to demonstrate both independent self-management and team working

· Able to work with competing priorities and to tight deadlines

· Flexible to the needs of others

· Demonstrates competences, core behaviours and supplementary behaviours that support and promote the University’s core values

· Demonstrates professionalism

Working Hours and Length of Contract:
1.5 equivalent days per week (10 hours in total). Flexible, to be worked as agreed.
5 months (17th January 2022 – 25th June 2022) - To start on 10th January 2022
Rate of Pay:
£10.92 per hour
