Project Managing Support Officer 
Job Description:
As we approach the final 10 months of the DE-Carbonise Project, which provides grants, consultancy and R&D for SMEs in the region to help them drive down their greenhouse gas emissions, we are looking for an enthusiastic marketing student to be employed by the project to help demonstrate the presence and impact of the project.

The post will support the project with delivery of a marketing plan with tasks which typically include:

  • Working with the Theme Delivery Leads and their supported SMEs to prepare Case Studies for Digital and Print media
  • Working with the Theme Delivery Leads and B2B marketing team to support content for Digital Marketing
  • Ensuring social media and links with other University, Local Enterprise Partnership, Council and related regional and national Carbon Reduction initiatives
  • Pulling together marketing material to support events and applications for follow on projects
  • Supporting the co-ordination of the pipeline with the Business Gateway as the project draws to a close. 

Candidate and Skills Requirements (all candidates must reside within the UK to undertake any role through the SEA):

Marketing skills and experience, including digital marketing and preparation of materials for web-pages.

Able to work well as part of a team and to progress tasks on own initiative.

Able to plan work, identify and manage dependencies and keep team informed of progress.

Good communicator – able to elicit information from the team and prepare case studies for review
Working Hours and Length of Contract:
Full Time is 37 hours per week (7.5 Hours on each of Monday to Thursday and 7 hours on Friday)
To start on 31st January 2022 - End of  October 2022
Rate of Pay:
£10.92 per hour
